How to get your Yahoo app password (1 min)
- Open Yahoo → Account Security → App passwords (sign in if asked).
- Under Generate app password, type a name like “Umano” and tap Generate.
- Yahoo shows a 16-character password like
abcd efgh ijkl mnop. Copy it. - Paste it below with your Yahoo email — you won’t need it again.
An app password is safer than your real password: it only allows sending mail and you can revoke it anytime in Yahoo.
